She holds two bachelor’s from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Science and Near Eastern Studies — Islamic Civilizations with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice. She has two masters, one in Urban Studies from Johns Hopkins and one in Social Policy and Management from Brandeis University. She has dedicated her life to education — first to equip herself to champion DEI programs, and second, to provide the education and training needed to bring about change for underprivileged and underrepresented groups. She believes that reflexivity is the key to laying the groundwork and developing effective, actionable anti-racist programs and practices.
